Kinder Morgan announces $1.7 billion pipeline project
Here's one of many upcoming projects thanks to President Trump's Unleashing American Energy executive action.
Kinder Morgan has announced the Trident Intrastate Pipeline, a $1.7 billion venture set to enhance natural gas supply along the U.S. Gulf Coast. The 216-mile pipeline will transport up to 1.5 billion cubic feet per day from Katy, Texas, to the industrial and LNG corridor near Port Arthur, with an operational target for the first quarter of 2027.
This announcement comes on the heels of President Donald Trump's recent executive order, which expedites federal permits for energy projects exceeding $1 billion in investment and to unleash American energy, including LNG. The order aims to streamline infrastructure development, reducing bureaucratic delays and fostering economic growth in the energy sector. The Trident Pipeline, therefore, stands as a direct beneficiary of this policy shift, promising to bolster the region's capacity for LNG exports, power generation, and industrial activities.
Stay tuned. This is just the beginning.
